Tim is the founder of MedEd Models and the principal content designer. He is the course director for HPE Global.

Tim serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Graduate Medical Education and is the lead contributing editor for the first edition clinical handbook, Huppert’s Notes. He is a prior fellow for the AAMC Medical Education Planning Committee, and he has served as a medical education consultant for McGraw Hill, Blueprint Test Prep, and Glass Health.

Tim is a prior chief medical resident and current Assistant Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He obtained his Master of Arts in Education at the University of California, Berkeley.
